Ray Campbell

Ray’s journey began with a notepad and a dream, working as a art director/copywriter at Saatchi & Saatchi—where he learned how powerful an image could be when paired with the right story. That eye for narrative eventually took him trackside as a photographer, traveling with Team Toyota as they entered the high-octane world of NASCAR.

But long before ad campaigns and pit lanes, Ray had a Kodak Instamatic 104 Camera in his hands at age ten—a sparkthat would ignite a lifelong relationship with photography.

Over two decades later, he is still a devoted Canon shooter, evolving from the legendary EOS-1 film body to today’s mirrorless EOS R5. Whether working in the controlled rhythm of a studio or chasing light in the field, Ray moves effortlessly between natural, strobe and continuous light, blending journalistic instinct with art-directed precision to create images that feel both cinematic and human.
